It’s Brawl Talk time—and this update is packed. From three brand-new Brawlers to a full Bling and Shop overhaul, plus major collaborations and fresh game modes, April’s update is shaping up to be one of the most content-heavy drops in a while. Here’s everything you need to know.
New Brawler: Damian (April)
What happens when you mix heavy metal, red hair, and a literal metal heart? You get Damian, easily one of the most chaotic Brawlers yet.
Damian is Draco’s older brother and the frontman of their band. But once the music kicks in, things get out of control—he becomes a destructive force driven by pure rhythm.
- Main Attack: Short-range punches. Every third hit knocks enemies back, sets them on fire, and triggers an AoE explosion.
- Super – Moshpit: Jumps forward and creates a speaker arena, trapping enemies inside. They must fight or destroy the speakers to escape.
- Hypercharge: Sets the ground on fire when he lands from his Super.
Damian drops in April, ready to bring chaos to the arena.
New Brawler: Starr Nova (May)
Meet Starr Nova—or at least, someone who thinks she is.
Originally hired as a cosplayer at Starr Toon Studios, she fully believes she’s a real anime hero and solves everything with her sword.
- Main Attack: Fires two projectiles in a straight line.
- Super: Dashes forward, damaging enemies and transforming into a stronger form.
- Transformed State: Gains speed, uses a cone-shaped sword attack, and heals when hitting enemies.
Her transformation is short—but deadly. Starr Nova arrives in May.
New Brawler: Bolt (June)
From toyline to battlefield, Bolt is a rolling machine with dreams of becoming a race car.
- Core Mechanic: Gains speed while moving forward—the faster he goes, the more damage he deals.
- Main Attack: Boosts speed and deals bonus damage temporarily.
- Weakness: Collisions or sharp turns slow him down.
- Super: Massive speed boost, damage reduction, and leaves a damaging trail behind.
Bolt speeds into Brawl Stars in June.
Bling & Shop Rework
Big changes are coming to how you spend your Bling:
- The Catalog is removed from the Shop (still accessible via Brawler screen).
- Bling can now only be spent in Juju’s Oddities Shop.
- New randomized bundles include:
- Skins (even Mythic & Legendary)
- Cosmetics
- Drops or Boxes
- Bundles can have discounts—even up to 100% (free!).
Other updates:
- Reduced Skin drop rates from boxes
- More Bling via Brawl Pass and a new monthly Mega Quest
- Daily shop reveals also grant Bling
Overall, progression stays balanced—but with more exciting ways to spend.

Brawl Striker Season (Adidas Collab)
- Football-themed skins for Gene, Carl, Lou, Surge, Otis, and more
- Features the iconic Adidas three stripes
- Comes with a football event in June
My Hero Academia Collaboration
Huge crossover featuring:
- All Might (El Primo)

Buffies Update
Buffies are now split into individual trio Machines, making it easier to target specific upgrades.
This update focuses on the Gift Shop trio:
- Griff: More control, bigger explosions, healing mechanics
- Colette: Charm abilities, faster dash, ammo steal
- Edgar: Aimable mobility, CC immunity, improved healing
