The final Brawl Talk of 2026 is here, packed with incredible updates. Supercell has revealed a major competitive overhaul for Ranked, three brand-new Brawlers (including the first Legendary Artillery and a dynamic duo with synergy mechanics), two amazing seasonal themes (Brawl Vice and classic Brawidays), alongside massive improvements to cosmetics, Buffies, and game modes.
Here is the complete breakdown of all the announcements and updates revealed in this Brawl Talk!
Ranked Rework
The competitive side of Brawl Stars receives one of its most requested updates to elevate the experience for competitive and “sweaty” players:
- Redesigned Pick and Ban Phase: Now displays a much larger roster of Brawlers with advanced filters and a search option. It introduces quick chat options during the phase, the ability to swap turns in the pick phase, and suggesting bans by class instead of just a specific Brawler.

- Preparation Screen & Statistics: A visual refresh showing your skin, more loadout customization options, and the ability to use pings before the match starts. At the end of the match, the stats screen will better prove who actually carried the game.

- ELO & Points Adjustments: You now win more points in a 2-0 blowout and lose fewer points in close 2-1 matches.

- New Ranked Requirements & Rules:
- Mandatory to play Ranked with Power Level 11 Brawlers.
- Diamond rank and above require more maxed Brawlers than before (increased from 3 to 6).
- Ranked unlocks at a later stage in the trophy road.
- Seasonal rank reset drops you fewer ranks than before.
- No pings allowed in Masters and above.
- Better matchmaking from Mythic I and above.
- Spectating now watches the whole best-of-three instead of a single match.
- Battle log shows the stats screen and banned Brawlers.
- New Seasonal Battle Cards: Inspired by fierce animals like wolves, tigers, dragons, and deer, available for a limited time each season.

New Brawlers: Thunder Frogs, Ray, and Ruby
Thunder Frogs (Zap, Z, and Vote) — Legendary (Artillery)

Arriving in November. They are three frogs acting as a single Brawler and serving as Ziggy’s stage assistants:
- Main Attack: Tosses frogs to different areas, creating an electric triangular link that damages everyone inside and deals extra damage at the edges.
- Super: They merge together into one big frog capable of performing 3 consecutive jumps with area damage (the center deals more damage, and the third jump goes farther).
- Hypercharge: The third jump creates an electric attack connecting all jump locations.
Ray and Ruby — Epic Synergy Brawlers
Arriving in December for the Brawlidays season. They are deeply in love, and their abilities synergize when they are on the same team (one of them can be claimed for free during the season!):

- Ray (King of Toiletland): His attack creates a mark on the opponent that builds up the longer they are in his sights (higher mark = more damage). His Super lets him fire early while granting a shield. His Hypercharge reveals invisible/bush-hidden opponents and applies a stronger mark. Synergy: heals Ruby with his main attack and moves faster walking towards her.
- Ruby (Queen of Toiletland): Her design is card-themed (clubs and diamonds). Her main attack throws a club and a diamond simultaneously; if both hit at the same time, it deals extra damage. Her Super creates an area that grounds and punishes enemies (great against tanks). Her Hypercharge enlarges the area and spreads swirling shots. Synergy: heals Ray and speeds up when walking toward him.
