Brawl Stars has introduced a spooky new community event called Scary Doors, packed with mystery, strategy, and some hilarious surprises — including the temporary deletion of Mortis from the game. Here’s everything you need to know.
Event Overview
There are 20 Doors, each hiding a unique reward (or trap).
However, players can only open 10 Doors in total during the event.
- You can open one Door per day.
- On the final day, you can open three Doors at once.
- The event lasts for eight days.
Each Door is opened by the community as a whole, so teamwork is key.
How to Open the Doors
Every day, the Brawl Stars community must complete 80 million quests to earn a Door Key.
Once the goal is met, everyone votes in-game for which Door to open next.
This means coordination is essential — opening the right Doors together increases the chance of getting the best prizes. Choosing poorly might leave you “alone, angry, and with just one Gem.”

- And one special Door that deletes Mortis from the game for two days
Each Door includes a hint about its contents — but beware, some are traps.
Transparency and Video Reveals
All Door openings will be shown in pre-recorded videos on Brawl Stars’ official social media channels.
According to the devs, this ensures the event is fair and not “rigged.” They even teased clips from every Door opening to prove it.
The Special Giveaway
Alongside the event, Brawl Stars is hosting a massive giveaway:
Ten players will win 1 million Gems each.
