The latest Brawl Talk reveals one of the most exciting collaborations yet: Brawl Stars x Stranger Things. The Upside Down has invaded Starr Park, transforming several Brawlers into versions inspired by the Netflix hit. The update also introduces new game modes, skins, a new Brawler, and significant changes to Hypercharges.

Stranger Things Collaboration
New Skins
- Eleven Lumi: the Brawl Pass skin. Uses the “power of waffles” to fight evil, with two Chromas: Retro Lumi and Thrilled Lumi.
- Dustin Nita: befriends a Demogorgon and comes with a Hypercharge version. Includes Chromas 80s Dustin Nita and Future Dustin Nita.
- Hopper Bull: brings Hawkins’ sheriff to Brawl.
- Eddie Draco: rocks the arena with his guitar.
- Will Gus: channels the dark energy of the Upside Down.
- Scoops Ahoy Berry: confused but stylish in his ice cream uniform.
New Game Mode: Upside Showdown
A new roguelite mode blending Showdown with progression-based gameplay.
- Each match is a five-stage run.
- At the start of each round, choose a Power upgrade.
- Powers can be offensive, defensive, or speed-based.
- The top four players advance to the next stage.
- The first player to win all five stages earns maximum rewards: Trophies and Waffles.
Waffles and Brawler Decks
Waffles are the new event currency, used to buy Card Packs and Ability Cards for specific Brawlers in the event shop.
They can be earned through Upside Showdown, Boss Fight, Quests, Daily Wins, and Freebies.
Boss Fight: Vecna and the Demogorgon
Join forces with other players to battle Vecna, Demogorgon, and Spirit Frank. Rewards include, once again, Waffles.
New Mecha Skins and More
Female Mecha Collection
- Mecha Mandy (Brawl Pass), with Chromas Wasp and Shade.
- Mecha Piper, featuring Lotus Mecha Piper (Hypercharge) plus Chromas Petal and Rose.
- Mecha Jesse, with Bubblegum and Shining Mecha Jesse Chromas.
Gym Rat Collection
- Pump It Melody, Workout Charlie, and Gym Rat Mr. P.
Additional Skins
- Tiger Leon (Pro Pass) evolves into Shadow Tiger Leon with Chromas White and Stalking Tiger Leon.
- Archer Queen Penny, available via Supercell ID Rewards.
New Brawler: Gigi
Gigi is a Mythic assassin and part of Juju’s trio.
A possessed ballerina doll with a magical glove that never leaves her side.
- Main Attack: Pirouette Power-up deals area damage and increases movement speed.
- Super: teleports to a target area to ambush enemies, then can teleport back, dealing exit damage.
- New Trait: charges her Super by dodging enemy projectiles.
Gigi will be unlockable through her Brawler Release Event, where players can open Gigi Boxes that also contain her 199 Gem Skins.
Hypercharge Rework
All Hypercharges now give standardized stat boosts:
- +5% Attack
- +5% Defense
- +20% Movement Speed
New Hypercharges
- Pam – Mama’s Love: her turret heals on deploy and provides decaying shields.
- Alli – Swamp Snacking: heals for 20% of damage dealt and does max health damage.
- Mina – Triplecane: her Super fires three bouncing hurricanes.
- Ziggy – Grand Vortex: his Super returns after reaching max range or duration.
Mega Quests and Omega Quests
A new quest chain system:
- Mega Quests unlock new quests as you complete them.
- Omega Quests offer double rewards.
Each Brawl Pass season includes a 7-quest chain, with the final one exclusive to the Pass.
Other Updates
- Daily Wins: remain at six wins for six rewards.
- New daily reward pool: Starr Drops, Hypercharged Drops, Sushi Rolls, Mega Boxes, Boom Boxes, and more.
- Team Up improvements: now shows players you’ve recently won with.
- XP Doublers: now double Quest XP as well.
- New Trio Modes: Trio Wipeout and Trio Gem Grab, featuring four teams of three.
