The latest Brawl Talk delivers one of the biggest updates in Brawl Stars history. From a brand-new progression system called Buffies, to major Brawler reworks, Legendary additions, a revamped Brawl Pass, and tons of new Skins and game modes, this update reshapes how players customize, progress, and battle in Starr Park.
Introducing Buffies: A New Way to Power Up Your Brawlers
What Are Buffies?
Buffies are a brand-new system designed to enhance your Brawlers with powerful upgrades. While they definitely won’t make you backflip (please don’t try), Buffies significantly buff Gadgets, Star Powers, and Hypercharges.
Each Brawler can equip up to three Buffies, and every Buffie provides a unique gameplay benefit.
Types of Buffies
There are three types of Buffies, each tied to a specific ability category:
- Gadget Buffies – Enhance or rework Gadgets
- Star Buffies – Improve Star Powers
- Hyper Buffies – Upgrade Hypercharges
Buffies are fully visible in matches, meaning you can see both your own and your enemies’ Buffies during gameplay.
Brawler Reworks: Buffies Come With Big Changes
Before diving into individual Buffies, Supercell made it clear: every Brawler receiving Buffies is also getting reworked. Since multiple abilities are being upgraded at once, this update is also used to fix outdated or underperforming kits.
Buffies launch initially for six Brawlers, each receiving meaningful changes.
