Speed: 2.8 Tiles Per Second

Primary Attack: Crow throws a triple threat of poisoned daggers dealing 60 damage each. Enemies nicked by these blades will take damage over time.
Super: Crow takes to the skies, throwing a ring of poisoned daggers around him both on take-off and landing. Each dagger deals 60 damage.
- Faster than every other brawler except Mortis
- Long range
- Invincible for a short amount of time when using his Super
- Great Kiter
- DoT (harder for opponents to regenerate health)
- Easy to charge up Super
- Underwhelming Super (doesn’t dish out enough damage and is somewhat easily avoidable by standing behind a wall)
- Relatively low damage overall
This may sound a bit surprising, but Crow is actually fairly decent in Showdown. Now, it may seem like he would be a terrible candidate due to his low damage output and relatively low health, but this is not the case. Yes, Crow is meant to be an annoyance, and only that, but this works quite well in Showdown.
For one, many people, including myself, underestimate Crow. That is, until I unlocked him. I am currently at 188 Trophies with him, and found that it was quite easy to consistently be in the Top 4 spots in every match, although you will rarely ever get first place. In fact, the only brawlers that I pushed faster with were El Primo, Shelly & Bull.
Although many put Crow in the C Tier, I would have to disagree. I am not saying that he is the best candidate, but rather a decent one. One of the main reasons why Crow is not poor in Showdown is because of his speed. The fact that he can go faster than any other brawler accept Mortis is huge. I cannot express just how many times I have been able to avoid a Shelly by outrunning them — something that is very difficult to do with Dynamike or Barley for example.
Another reason why Crow is a good option for Showdown is because of teaming. Yes, teaming. Most A and B Tier brawlers tend to team with Crow because they think he is underwhelming and dismiss the possibility that he might be a threat. While his Super might be weak, his Primary Attack sure isn’t. You can use this to your advantage to pick them off whenever they get hit, and more often than not, they won’t see it coming.
Crow’s range also plays a huge role in Showdown. For maps like Feast of Famine, Crow’s daggers are a big threat, especially to El Primo, Bull & Shelly. Countless times I have beaten a Bull in a 1v1 match-up just by keeping my distance and slowly picking them off.
Furthermore, Crow’s DoT is quite effective in a lot of cases. When your opponents keep losing health due to your poison, they tend to run away in hopes of regenerating health. The catch here is that there are a lot of other players in the match, creating opportunities for a Shelly, Colt, or really anybody to finish them off.
Finally, Crow’s Super is also quite useful at times. For one, his Super is VERY easy to charge up, so if you see a Bull charging at you or if you’re trapped by an El Primo, you can escape by flying into the air and becoming temporarily invulnerable. This is quite useful when you’re teaming with a bunch of sub-700 health Brawlers and a Shelly uses her Super on all of you.
While the Shelly is picking off the people you teamed with, you can fly away and save yourself a couple trophies. Another scenario where this is useful is when the poison has almost encompassed the entire arena, and you are in a tight space with a Shelly and Bull, for example. When things get this close, nobody teams anymore and the two will start firing at each other and you. When the other brawlers are relatively low on health, this is when you activate your Super to survive a couple more seconds.
This usually helps you get 2nd place instead of 3rd, and sometimes even 1st if you manage to pick off the last brawler with your DoT.
My Rating: 7/10
To put it simply, this is not where Crow shines. He is only useful on defense due to his great crowd control, but other than that, he isn’t very good. When on defense, your main job is to keep the enemy brawlers away from your safe, so stay a safe distance away from them and pick them off, bit by bit. However, you should watch out for Colt and Ricochet since they can out-range you.
As for offense, Crow isn’t good at all. When trying to damage the safe, you want something that can deal burst damage; something that Crow really lacks. This is fine, however, because not every brawler can fit into every role and map. Crow simply isn’t meant to be on the offensive in Heist.

When it comes to Bounty, Crow is actually quite a good brawler to use. You may think that since the main objective is to kill your opponents, doing a ton of damage is the way to go. However, this isn’t always the case. Chipping down your opponent and letting your teammates finish them off works quite well, but only if you have the right team.
Crow also has an advantage in all Bounty maps without a ton of bushes. These include Cabbage Patch, Star Gulch, Shooting Star & Temple Ruins. The basic strategy when using Crow on these maps is to constantly pressure your opponents back into their base, or up against the walls. His poison daggers make sure that the enemy brawlers think twice about advancing. However, in all the other maps containing a lot of grass, Crow isn’t as effective since tanks and heavy hitters such as El Primo, Shelly & Bull can sneak up on you.

Smash & Grab
One area in which Crow shines is crowd control. And this is everything when it comes to Smash & Grab. Having control of the center is what decides the winner more often than not, so Crow is a great option. His DoT forces enemies to hide behind their walls and retreat, allowing your teammates to gain control of the center.
Crow is also somewhat efficient at chasing down an opponent that has a lot of gems. Due to his fast speed, Crow can catch up and chip down the enemies health. However, due to his low health, this doesn’t always work.
What does usually work however, is Crow’s Super. Whenever the countdown starts and you have most of the games, being cornered in your base is not the end of the world. You can always use your Super to somewhat escape, or survive the last 3 seconds of the countdown. Your speed is also essential for escaping. Both of these characteristics make Crow a really good option in Smash & Grab, but not the best.
For example, Poco is really good due to his ability to synergize well with most brawlers and heal them up. Mortis is also outstanding, and Jessie’s Turret and Nita’s Bear put much more pressure on the opponent than some daggers.
My Rating: 8/10
- Attack – Crow’s main role is to be a nuisance and chip the enemy bit by bit. Due to his strength in prolonged battles, attack should be priority number one for dishing out even more damage over time.
- Health – Having more health is never a bad thing. It allows you to withstand more shots and forces your enemy to waste even more time trying to kill you.
- Super – This should be what you upgrade last, due to how underwhelming Crow’s super can be. Most of the daggers that he shoots upon takeoff and landing miss their target, or barely deal any damage whatsoever. His Super is only used as an escape mechanism, making it one of, if not the worst super in the game.
Judging by the overall rating, it’s obvious that Crow needs a buff. Most players will choose other brawlers over him because they can dish out more damage and usually have more health. At the moment, Crow is just too weak. Yes, in some cases he can be really good and very annoying, but it doesn’t usually happen. I think when considering buffs for Crow, Supercell should focus a lot on Crow’s specialty — being a nuisance. This will make Crow very unique and yet still a formidable opponent.
